Professional Company Auditions - DATE CHANGE
Open auditions for company and apprentice dancers will be held on February 19, 2012 at the Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre. Registration will begin at 10:30am, with auditions immediately following from 11:00am - 1:00pm.
Atlanta Ballet's Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre is located at 1695 Marietta Boulevard NW. No pre-registration is required. Those attending the open audition must bring a current resume and dance photos (arabesque and head shot). Pre-applications are not accepted. There is no audition fee. The audition will include pointe work for female dancers.
Atlanta Ballet does not allow auditions in company class. Applicants may send a DVD with resume and email contact for consideration. We prefer the DVD include solo performance material in classical and contemporary work of good quality. If performance material is not available, send studio work that includes a variation and classwork with examples of adagio, petit and grand allegro and pirouettes. Ladies need to show work on pointe. You may be notified if further evaluation is required after the video has been viewed by the artistic staff.
