Chief Financial Officer
Atlanta Ballet is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to direct all aspects of accounting and financial management from both a strategic and operational perspective. The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a member of the Senior Management Team collaborating with and advising the Executive Director, Chief Marketing Officer, Development Director, Artistic Director and Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education teams, as well as managing the financial reporting to the Board of Trustees and statutory agencies. Professional Company Auditions
The audition process for company and apprentice dancers has concluded for the 2010-2011 performance season. The date for open auditions for the 2011-2012 Season will be announced later in the year.
Atlanta Ballet holds only one open company audition. It is held in our Atlanta Midtown studios located at 1695 Marietta Boulevard NW. No pre-registration is required. Those attending the open audition must bring resume (including contact information with an email address) and dance photos (1st arabesque and head shot). Pre-applications are not accepted. There is no audition fee. The audition will include Pointe work for female dancers.
Atlanta Ballet does not allow auditions in company class. Applicants may send a DVD with resume and email contact for consideration. We prefer the DVD include solo performance material in classical and contemporary work of good quality. If not available, send studio work that includes a variation and class work with examples of adagio, petit and grand allegro and pirouettes. Ladies need to show work on pointe. You will be contacted after the artistic staff has viewed the DVD if further evaluation is needed.
