Our Mission

The Parent's Association was created to serve and assist Atlanta Ballet and Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education with regards to fundraising, communicating upcoming events and promoting a positive non competitive atmosphere. Our doors are open to everyone and we invite you be a part of this wonderful group of volunteers.

The Atlanta Ballet Parent's Association runs the Atlanta Ballet Boutique at all three studio locations as well as during all performances at the Fox Theatre. Proceeds from Boutique sales benefit Atlanta Ballet. All staffing for the Boutique is provided by the Parent's Association.

How to become a member of the Parents Association

You are automatically a member by enrolling your child into the Centre for Dance Education. It is a great way to meet other parents, find carpools and feel part of the Ballet. Parents of students at all dance levels are invited and we are open to hearing any suggestions you might have. All Adult Students are also invited to join the Parent's Association. We have plenty of volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

 

It is not the mission of the Parent's Association to address questions or concerns about curriculum, placement, or policies of Atlanta Ballet or Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education. All such questions and discussions should be directed to Sharon Story, at sstory@atlantaballet.com.
