Technology and Operations Support Associate

Atlanta Ballet, one of the premier dance companies in the country and the official State Ballet of Georgia, is seeking candidates for the position of Technology and Operations Support Associate in Atlanta, GA. This person will provide Tier 1 IT Support, serve as liaison with external Managed Service Provider and act as project manager for facilities needs at Atlanta Ballet’s administrative offices.

Reporting Relationships

The Technology and Operations Associate will report to the Director of Technology and Sales Operations and support the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer as needed.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Researching, troubleshooting, and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues, both in-person and via remote desktop tools.
  • Providing simple repairs, adjustments and routine maintenance, and escalating issues to IT Managed Service Provider as needed.
  • Communicating technical information to end users.
  • Creating and maintaining knowledge base documentation.
  • Scheduling and overseeing facilities repairs, serving as primary point of contact with vendors.
  • Leading/performing other duties and projects as needed.

Desired Traits, Characteristics and Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a closely related field required; equivalent professional experience may be substituted for this requirement.
  • Prefer candidates with prior tech support experience in MS Windows PCs, MAC OS, MS Office Applications, MS Exchange, Office 365, and Active Directory account management
  • Must be able to identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used by the organization.
  • Must be proficient user of video conferencing software such as Zoom and MS Teams.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and keep up with multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute to a highly-productive team environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

Atlanta Ballet provides a competitive and equitable compensation package with salary estimated in the range of $40,000 - $45,000. Employee benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays; health, long-term disability, life insurance; and a voluntary 403(b) retirement plan.
