In recognition of National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month, Atlanta Ballet’s Centre for Dance Education will host its inaugural “What Moves You” Healthy Living Day on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 10 am – 6 pm, at its Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre in West Midtown Atlanta. 

On Tuesday, June 26, Atlanta Ballet will celebrate its inaugural Alumni Day with two special guests: Artistic Director Emeritus Bobby Barnett and famed Atlanta Ballet alum Caroline Cavallo.

This May, Atlanta Ballet (AB) Artistic Director John McFall will present another cast of emerging choreographers in the Company's now annual production New Choreographic Voices (NCV) - a mixed repertory program featuring two world premieres and an Atlanta Ballet premiere on The Alliance Stage at The Woodruff Arts Center May 18 through May 20.

Today, Atlanta Ballet announced the successful completion of its largest fundraising effort in the history of the company - the “Choreographing our Future” capital campaign – which culminated at a noteworthy $20.7 million, far exceeding its original goal of $14.8 million.

Belk, Inc. today announced that it has renewed its partnership with Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker through 2013. As part of the two-year agreement, Belk will continue to serve as the presenting sponsor of one of Atlanta's most popular holiday traditions, a role the company has held since 2008.
