How can I purchase tickets?
There are several ways to purchase tickets. Season tickets may be purchased through Atlanta Ballet in person, by phone, fax and mail. All in person, phone, mail and fax orders incur a handling fee of $15.00 per order. Please allow 2-3 weeks for mail and fax orders to be processed. Reservations are not accepted. For season ticket information, you may contact the Atlanta Ballet patron services office at (404) 892-3303 or purchase online. Patron services office hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm. We offer extended hours until 6pm as well as Saturday hours from 10am to 2pm October through mid-February. Otherwise, the Atlanta Ballet patron services office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Single tickets may be purchased in person at the patron services office located in the Michael C Carlos Dance Centre at 1695 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 or by calling 404.892.3303 or purchased online. You can buy tickets securely, at your convenience, day or night, 365 days a year. Or you may purchase tickets at any Ticketmaster Outlet Monday-Friday 9am-9pm, Sat 9am-7pm, Sunday 9am-6pm or call the Ticketmaster Arts Hotline 1.800.982.2787.
You may also purchase tickets directly at the performance venue (the Fox Theatre for Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker and the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre for all other Atlanta Ballet productions). For Nutcracker single ticket sales, please call 1.855.285.8499 or go online.
Tickets purchased online or over the phone are subject to processing fees. Processing fees vary based upon which website you are visiting. Tickets purchased through Atlanta Ballet are subject to processing fees of $7 per ticket and $2.50 per order. Tickets purchased through the Fox Theatre, Ticketmaster, or the Cobb Energy Centre are subject to processing fees which are a percentage of the total purchase.
The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre box office is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. The Cobb Energy Centre Box Office is not open on Sundays. The Fox Theatre box office is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. The Fox Box Office is not open on Sundays unless there is a performance that day.
During events, the Fox and Cobb Energy Centre box offices open two hours before show time. Doors to the Cobb Energy Performance Arts Centre open one and half hours before the show, and the Fox Theatre doors open one hour prior to the start of the performance.
Are my seats together if they are numbered 1 and 3?
Yes. Seats in the orchestra on the left side of the Cobb Energy Centre and the Fox Theatre are odd-numbered, and the seats on the right side are even-numbered. Seats in the center are consecutively numbered.
Do you have discounts for children and students?
Student and child discounts are offered for selected subscription packages. Discounted tickets to individual performances are available for all performances.
If I order online, will a confirmation be emailed to me?
Yes; you should receive a confirmation via email almost immediately. It is also a good idea to print the confirmation page displayed once your order is complete.
At what age is it appropriate for children to attend Nutcracker?
Most children four and over can enjoy a two-hour performance of Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker while remaining happily and quietly seated. However, you know your child's nature the best. Please note: all children, regardless of age, must have a ticket, and parties must be ticketed together. Atlanta Ballet does not offer lap passes.
Are all of the theatres wheelchair accessible?
Yes; both venues have accessible seating on the Orchestra level. Call (770) 916-2800 for more information about the Cobb Energy Centre or (404) 881-2118 for more information about the Fox Theatre.
Will I get the best seats if I purchase online? Can I select specific seats?
All seats are available via the Internet, except for a small number of limited view and wheelchair accessible seats that are sold only through the ticket office. Online ticketing through Atlanta Ballet allows you to select your own seating. Please note, this feature is not supported on some mobile devices, and the system will automatically reserve the best available seating at the price level you select. All seating is subject to availability.
What is the best way to get my tickets?
If time allows, it is best to have tickets mailed to you in order to review them when they arrive. Check the day, date and time of performance and the number of tickets to make sure your order is correct. Will call is a good option when the performance is more pending. Please allow plenty of time for traffic, parking, and a line to pick up will call tickets, as you may not be seated right away if the curtain has gone up.
When and where do I pick up will call tickets?
The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre holds both subscriber and single ticket will call orders at the will call window located at the outside windows of the box office.
The Fox Theatre holds both subscriber and single ticket will call orders at the Fox Theatre will call window, which is located in the gold kiosk at the entrance of the Fox Theatre arcade.
In order to pick up your tickets, please present:
- Your valid photo ID, driver's license or passport
- The credit card you used to purchase the tickets
The box office will not release tickets if the name on the ID or credit card does not match the name of the ticket purchaser or if the photo on the ID does not appear to be the photo of the person retrieving the tickets.
Will call lines can be long, so we suggest that you arrive at the box office at least 45 minutes prior to the performance to pick up will call tickets. Please plan to arrive early, as Atlanta traffic and parking are unpredictable.
How early should I arrive if I have my tickets in hand?
Please arrive at the theatre at least a half-hour before the performance. Arriving early will give you time to get to your seat and review your program and casting insert. Traffic and parking can be unpredictable, so plan to arrive early to assure an enjoyable experience.
If I am late where do I get my tickets?
Once the box office closes, your tickets will be waiting for you with the ushers at the door. All sales are final; therefore, your tickets cannot be sold to someone else. Performances begin on time so please be prompt. Seating during the performance is not allowed during the season. For Nutcracker, late seating is at the discretion of the house manager and is sometimes allowed at certain times during the performance.
Why is there a time limit when making purchases online?
When you are shopping for tickets, you are "holding" real inventory. No one else will be able to purchase your selected tickets unless you release them. Due to high demand, a policy has been implemented to limit the time during the checkout process. If the time exceeds the posted time on that page, the tickets you are holding are released for others to purchase. You have about 15 minutes in total to complete your purchase. This gives as many people as possible the chance to purchase tickets.
To prevent your tickets from being released, please use only one browser window at a time (on the same computer) to hold tickets.
How do I purchase tickets for school groups?
School groups can purchase tickets through Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education's Kids In Step program. This learning experience includes abbreviated performances of the current season's productions along with a special behind-the-scenes look at the magic of backstage. Teachers also have access to educational materials prior to the performance describing the components of the production. For more information, visit our Kids In Step page.
Does Atlanta Ballet have a no weapons policy?
Yes. No weapons of any kind are permitted at our three studio locations or at any Atlanta Ballet or Centre for Dance Education student performances.
Are tickets refundable?
No. Tickets are not refundable or exchangeable except as noted. If event is cancelled or rescheduled, no refund required if you're given the right, within 12 months of date of event, to attend a rescheduled performance of same event or exchange ticket for a ticket, comparable in price and location, to similar event as designated by management, except as provided by law.
Do you offer discounts for groups of 10 or more?

What’s the difference between a full-length ballet program and a mixed-rep program?
On the calendar you will see some programs listed with 1-3 ballets and some full-length ballets. For example, Dracula is a full-length ballet that follows a story line. New Choreographic Voices is a mixed repertory program, as it includes at least one additional ballet on the program. A mixed repertory program can be an excellent introduction to attending Atlanta Ballet because of the variety of dance you will see.
Is my credit card information secure?
Yes, your credit card information is transmitted securely when purchasing through Ticketmaster. You should see a padlock icon at the bottom right of your browser window when entering your credit card information; this icon indicates that the site is SSL secured.
