A new pas de deux.

Christopher Wheeldon’s Rush is an elegiac, neo-classical homage to the traditional pas de deux. In case your French is a little rusty, pas de deux translates as “steps for two” and is the ballet term for coupled dancing. Rush utilizes six couples whose movements ebb and flow throughout the 24 minute piece, rushing forward and soaring back across the stage in explosion of symmetry and order.
