Highlights from Wabi Sabi Performance at High Museum Culture Shock

Atlanta Ballet's Wabi Sabi opened its season with a brand new work by Company dancer and Wabi Sabi ballet master, John Welker. He choreographed a piece titled "Christine," which was performed by fellow Company dancer (and John Welker's wife) Christine Winkler. The event also marked Christine’s return to Atlanta Ballet after the birth of the couple’s first child this past April. The crowds were mesmerized by the work, which was performed twice throughout the evening-long art celebration that included pop-up performances from select local arts organizations.
