On April 13 and 14, Atlanta Ballet 2 presented a one-hour version of Beauty & the Beast by Bruce Wells in the new Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center at City Springs. The packed houses raved about the family-friendly production and mini-Belles twirled their way out of the theater both afternoons.

"[I]t’s impossible not to be fall under the spell of the entertaining version of the tale. Young dance or “Beauty and the Beast” fans, especially between the ages of around four to ten, will be totally delighted by the show, and with impressively athletic dance from young dancers, there’s enough here to keep parents occupied, too." - Andrew Alexander, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Bruce Wells will return next season to choreograph a brand-new, one-hour version of Swan Lake for next season. Be sure to visit the performance section of our site in May for more details!
