Playground is Lee's first piece for Atlanta Ballet, which the Company will premiere March 18-20. The work explores the idea of play, drawing upon his nostalgic feeling for the past and harkening back to the playfulness of childhood memories. As the piece progresses, the tone changes, reflecting the more sinister and mysterious associations that Lee now makes with the act of play as an adult. Dutch pianist and composer Jeroen van Veen’s music helps drive the ominous undertones.

Join us in the theater for 20|20:Visionary, featuring the world premiere of Playground, March 18-20 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
