Treat Your Tastebuds with a Moulin Rouge Wine Dinner at Marcel on February 9!

Join Atlanta Ballet dancer John Welker and retired Atlanta Ballet dancer Christine Winkler on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 for an elegant wine dinner at Marcel to celebrate Atlanta Ballet’s production of Moulin Rouge® – The Ballet. Executive Chef Brian Horn will create a special five-course menu inspired by the ballet’s vibrant romance and late 19th century la vie bohème. Beverage Manager Eduardo Guzman and Perrine Prieur of Perrine’s Wine Shop will partner to pair the evening’s menu with their favorite French wine varietals.

Atlanta Ballet company dancer John Welker, in his 21st season with the Ballet, will also join guests for dinner alongside his wife and former company dancer Christine Winkler. John and Christine danced the lead roles in the 2010 Atlanta Ballet premiere of Moulin Rouge® – The Ballet. John will dance the role of Zidler in the upcoming production at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, February 5 through 13.

The coursed dinner with wine pairings is $120 per person. Space is limited.
