Featuring the Atlanta premiere of Gustavo Ramírez Sansano's El Beso, Yuri Possokhov's Classical Symphony (live with the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra) & the world premiere of Andrea Miller's Push
Get ready as the energy of Atlanta Ballet’s dancers bursts forth from the stage and pull you into a high-octane exploration of dance in the modern world.
From award-winning choreographer Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, El Beso is a playful look at the power of a kiss that The New York Times described as “full of bold, astute, unexpected choices.”
Atlanta audiences and critics couldn't get enough of Yuri Possokhov's Classical Symphony, so we had to bring it back. Accompanied live by the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, this dizzying and exuberant celebration of ballet will bring you to your feet!
The program also includes the world premiere of Push from
Guggenheim fellow and founder of New York-based Gallim Dance, Andrea
Miller. An authentic exploration of the human condition, Dance Magazine has called her choreography “juicy, eccentric, impassioned movement.”
